I'm Brittany. I'm married to the man of my dreams, Justin and we just found out that we are going to have our FIRST BABY!!!! What an exciting time in our lives! We have been married just over a year and a half and we were definitely not expecting this surprise but we couldn't be happier!!
Justin and I met at youth group when I was 13 and he was 15. We ended up sort of being high school sweethearts and got engaged the summer after I graduated high school. We moved to Dallas, Texas and went to a bible school called Christ for the Nations Institute. After our first year there, we got married. We graduated CFNI that May 2011 and moved back home to Perryton, Texas. We have had an awesome adventure thus far and I can't wait to see what else the Lord has in store for us.
We got to tell my parents the good news first and they were thrilled! There were lots of hugs and "really?!"& "for real?!"s. Next were our mentors, Nolan and Salem! I couldn't wait to tell them, because Salem is going to school to be a midwife so I knew it would be something very special to share with them. Next, we got to share with Justin's dad and family who live about 9 hours away from us. They were so excited too! We get to have their first grand baby so I'm very excited too!! And last, we will tell Justin's mom and family tonight and his mom's birthday dinner! It has been so fun seeing everyones reactions to the news and I am so very thankful for all the support we have around us.
I can't wait to share all the new experiences with all my family and friends. They mean so much to me so to be able to share this new journey in our lives with them is going to be such an honor. I'll be sharing more as our adventure continues. Thanks for all the prayers, hugs and well wishes!
