Adding Travel to the Blog + Denver, CO 02/2018

Hey y’all! I’ve been dreaming of traveling the US with my little family of 5 and decided I want to blog about it so I can always keep our experiences and photos together and share with my readers. I’m excited to start this new section of my blog! So I give you..... Travel Blog Post #1: Denver,CO   The main purpose of this trip is to visit Justin’s family up in Conifer, Co which is west of Denver. We left at 7:30 Thursday morning and the kids have done wonderfully! We haven’t had any meltdowns or complaining thus far and it’s been great. We took our first stop 2 hours in at Texline and grabbed a family photo while stretching our legs. Texline pit stop & the CO state line Oh, the magic of being a child! Sometimes life....

S ometimes life is dreaming and hoping for big things and looking at your spouse and children with awe and gratitude. I can feel the joy bursting out of me. Everything feels bright and warm and like the comfort of your soft, warm bed. And.. Sometimes life is monotonous, folding clothes, changing diapers, and washing the same cracked mugs over again.. teaching the same concepts 100 times to little people who probably didn’t hear you. Like a cycle and you’re stuck on repeat.  And then..  Sometimes life is brutal and relentless and you can’t catch your breath and you can’t catch a break and your three year old has you feeling completely defeated. Again. And you feel that postpartum body is failing you and there is only so much you can do. Sometimes life is just plain hard and it tries to suck the joy out of you.  But! Regardless of which of these lives I’m living today, how I look or what I’m feeling .. I know that this life is beautiful . This life has worth. Even if I’m “only” a st
