So, we finally finished telling all the parents and immediate family that we are going to have a baby! All the different reactions were priceless! After we celebrated my mother-in-law, Sherry's, birthday, we sent out an online announcement to grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Then we got to share with all of our friends on Facebook! It's so fun!

I truly feel so blessed to have all the support and love from family and friends. It means so much to me! 

I'll post a few pictures of the beginning of our new adventure with Baby Cole!!

Justin, Silas and I had all been really sick for a week so on Sunday Dec 21, my mom and I decided to go to Amarillo to fill a script for medicine and do some last minute Christmas shopping. I was 41 weeks and 4 days pregnant at this point. We arrived around 2 and when we stopped at Starbucks for coffee & a potty break, I noticed I had lost a quarter size chunk of mucus plug & was feeling really crampy. I told my mom we should make the trip kind of snappy in case labor was close. We walked and shopped all afternoon and decided to eat before we left. Silas' Homebirth Story

There are pictures at the end so hang with me! :)                  Friday, October 5th was homecoming for the Perryton Rangers football team and Justin and I took our last date (unknowingly) as a married couple without kids to the game that night. We came home and watched tv until about 1:00 am. Terrible decision! 4:30am of October 6th gets here and my water breaks. I was 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I wanted to be sure it was really my water so I laid back down for a while and timed my contractions. They were about 30-45 seconds long about about 2 minutes apart but definitely feeling different than the Braxton Hicks contractions that I had gotten so used to. My fourth and final baby has arrived! This is the story of how she came earthside.  I became pregnant in May 2019 and was due February 11, 2020. My dating sonogram gave me a due date of 2/14/20 and knowing I go a few days past 40, I told everyone that I should have a Valentines baby. This pregnancy, I focused on my nutrition by following the Brewer Pregnancy diet the best I could. I stayed busy and active with my other three kids, their school and sports, my youngest and his speech therapy and their special dietary needs while going to college myself and buying a new house in the middle of it. Our hope during this pregnancy was that I wouldn’t have the same cardiac issues I had during my last pregnancy in order to be able to have a home birth and luckily, that was the case!
